Buttermilk is the second collaboration between Chemical Dreams and John Orpheus and the follow-up to Look To The Moon. Says Mark Gane, “We had such a great time working with John on our first collaboration, Look To The Moon, that, when he suggested doing something new, Martha and I were into it right away. Collectively, I think we laid down a pretty funky groove. A bit loose in a good sense. It was organic with an old school approach to the bass and guitars. We were playing real instruments for the most part. So, it has that feeling of spontaneity." The single is accompanied by a joyous and provocative video created by Moon Reel Media.
