John Orpheus is a multi-cultural musical artist and published author. His musical journey has taken him from the Caribbean bush to festivals across Canada and the US to opening for Liam Gallagher in the UK. He combines hip-hop swagger, Afrobeat energy and soulful rhythms to create a sound built on big catchy hooks. John is known for his rabble-rousing live shows filled with audience participation, chanting and impromptu dance-offs that feel more like Caribana road parties than concerts. His various mixtapes, albums, EPs and singles have been used to develop and hone his unique sound. His songs have been featured in Tiny Pretty Things (Netflix), Virgins! (CBC Gem) and Robyn Hood (Global). “The music that I want to create is one big global sound-clash dance party.” John released his most recent EP entitled Get Right! in 2024 and Simon & Schuster published his novel Black Cherokee in 2025.
“Set to an Afro-beat and an R&B thump cradled by a subtle guitar, John Orpheus’ vocals blend Sam Cooke and Bob Marley in his encouraging stories.” ~ Global Texan Chronicles

Odario is a storyteller, a hip-hop junkie and a lover of many musical soundscapes. He is embedded in the beat and submerged in the bass. His solo project expresses all of these qualities; tackling the many sides of "beat poetry". Odario's parents grew up in a small village in Guyana. Odario’s music reflects the raw heat of South American villages as well as the unique and intimate migration to the north. Odario is known for his work in Grand Analog (as songwriter and frontman). His distinctive voice and insightful lyrics have been part of the Grand Analog sound since their debut album, Calligraffiti, in 2007. As a performer and personality, Odario wears many hats and describes himself as a raconteur, an actor and a DJ. He currently hosts CBC Music’s Afterdark program. Music has always been the foundation. Storytelling has always been his passion. Following up his lush & funky solo album, Good Morning Hunter. Odario has released a series of singles including his current single, The Situation, which features dub legend Mad Professor (Massive Attack/Grace Jones). He has also been featured on a number of other artist’s tracks including the Halluci Nation single Ba Na Na with Haviah Mighty.
“Funky, eclectic and conscious, Odario fuses hip-hop, blaxploitation funk and jazz into a seamlessly effervescent entity.” ~ Exclaim Magazine
